Fix warped wavy door panels

my door panels vinyl is in great shape. But the backing is warped. can just the backing be replaced and save the vinyl? it looks worse in person sorry I am not much of a photographer thanks Jerry

BTW, the wrinkles shown have shrunken up since the last pic was taken and it looks much better.
