Obviously not mine.

Looks like about 6 or 7.

This is about a half hour south of me. If someone is really interested, I will take a ride to look at any of them. I really don't want to get involved in removing any major parts. Keep in mind that Syracuse winters are tough on cars.

Chrysler New Yorkers 1970's

I have multiple Chrysler New Yorkers for sale all ranging in the 1970's. All vehicles are in various conditions. Some able to restore some only for parts. Many with engines from 383-440's. Located in LaFayette NY. Able to see by appointment only. Please email me for any questions or to make an appointment to view. Prices vary depending on vehicle condition. All engines will need to be restored.

Thanks Big John... a few weeks too late for me. I would have had a ball spending a couple days in that mess... of course I have a feeling he and I wouldn't see the money thing eye to eye... I see a car that with a title might get towed out of there for $200... he may see it as worth a whole lot more.

Scrap price is down right now. $200-250 for each car... But they aren't near any scrappers, so you have to figure that in. $200 would probably be the going price for the worst car.

There's not a big call for cars like this around here... I'd bet that sales would mostly be to guys stripping out engines and transmissions.

Derby.......
I don't know if there is enough bottom left in some of those to be worth crashing... but, yes, I think that's the target audience... :BangHead: It would have been interesting to try if I was still available... I could have even bought tools...

Yep....the frames have to be semi good for derby fodder.

There's not a lot of regular derby action here. There was a big one at the state fair every year, but since they blew up the grandstand and tore up the race track so I don't see that happening any more.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if these were some derby guy's stash for future events at the fair.

It's a shame... but I don't think they will do much except be recycled, maybe if someone from here is planning a road trip they can drop me a PM... I would like some stuff, but it's mostly PITA stuff.

Most of the derby action that I know about is in Pa, Ohio, Indiana, Midwest areas.

You and I need to find some dirt cheap space ½-way between us, say Haines City, and dump a couple of Formals in there, and use it as our parts depot.

Of course then we would have to find dead Formals close enough to bring in...
Haines City bores me... I'd rather find something closer to 98... more fun stuff down there...

These guys are coming to Syracuse... I may have to get busy and build a car or two.
