Looking forward to start my 1954 Chrysler Windsor Town and Country wagon, but I will need a front clip. This is a heavy weight with the original suspension, brakes and engine. If I don't get this car on the road, it will surely end up in the crusher, so I would like to make it a decent, comfortable and safe driver. Any suggestions on a front clip for this car? I want to keep it Mopar and the wheels in the fenders.

A friend had a '34 Plymouth with a Volare suspension under it. It drove OK, but it looked a bit out of place.

I bought an engine from a guy that was going to use a Dakota front suspension under his '48 ish Desoto. He said it lined up pretty well, but I never saw the finished product.
