there seems to be a New Yorker grill on my car,Looks to be factory with the glass covered headlights and the grill like the 65 wagon with the 4-speed that is for sale. Was it an Option back then??

No not an option but a fairly common swap. Is yours the white one that came out of Wyoming or Montana? And welcome to the site!

Well it Looks like it was factory installed, also no front end damage where it might have been replaced. I bought it in whittier CA, not sure of spelling of City, sorry Long time in Germany LOL! Not sure where it came from anymore And thank you for the welcome:) Thanks for the reply also, I cant wait to get home and spend hours here!!

Yes it is an easy bolt in swap so it does look factory. The 65 NY'er grill is one of the coolest grilles made IMHO.

Forgot something sir, I see you are in Waddell, I am planning to go to Phoenix in the summer to visit my sister and to sell my cars, a 67 one owner Wagon and the 70 T&C. I have soooo many NOS parts for the 67 and used parts too. Maybe you have a contact of someone interested,or yourself? Before that i dont think I can sell something before I make an inventory list...ist gonna be Long:)

Are both wagons here in the Phoenix area? If so I would like to check them out. I have a 66 Town & Country wagon now. Always looking for another nice wagon.

Yes they are, phoenix,Scottsdale area. I would have to contact my sister in advance of course, should be no Problem sir. Hell, maybe I dont have to wait till summer:)

Give me some more information on them. Pictures would be great too. If I'm not a buyer I might be able to find someone who is.

OK, but give me some time to dig them out(Pictures) My son will help me, I am not that talented in that area LOL!! Ok, on my way home now, will check in later I hope, Thank you;)

Ok...off the top of my head, the 67 was an estate car, auction or something? It came from the Bay area in CA. I saw no rust. This dude bought it and I got it from him through Ebay. Its a one owner black plate car. Now get this, the plates read....USC 321!! USC fans would jump on that:) I think 98,000 miles, and from the looks of it ,all original. The drivers side front fender, the paint looks like a crocodile skin up close, maybe a fender repaint gone bad, 10 footer. Thats all I can say of the cosmetic bad on the outside. Color is beige. Very straight car,and the roof rack, all ok. Could use a wax job, although still shines patina is nice. Cant recall seeing any scatches, no dents...... maybe a door ding? All trim is there, nothing missing. Fender skirts are also fine. Big *** hubcaps, deluxe? Inside really nice! Brown and "creme color"? Dash is primo in brown color. No tears in seats, carpet nice too,in brown. Door panels good also. Ashtrays front and rear with lighters.Passenger seat reclines.Electric Drivers seat for sure, pass. side? Electic windows if I remember correctly, new NOS rear window with NOS switch on the dash, 600 $. Dude broke it after i bought it:( Engine 383 and I think 4 bbl, did not check numbers, I am sure it is matching#s to the car. I drove it 3 years ago,it drove awesome!! Shifted perfect, did not pull to the side while braking, drove straight line, and could not hear the engine running !(single exhaust). Just incredible:) I know I am forgetting stuff, but has been awhile. Been in the garage since I bought it, Warm and dry, thanks Arizona:) Thats it for now on that one . Gonna have a smoke, then on to the 70 wagon description.

Having problems here, wrote about the 70,gonna try again tomarrow...I'm done for today, thanks;)

Mine is a Newport and I did the swap on the headlights only. I like the newport grill - 300/New Yorker headlights better.

Finally back, tis the season so family first. So the 70...Light metallic green with the wood grain stuff on the side, that should be replaced. Its faded, although nice patina! Paint needs to be waxed, I would not repaint it IMHO. This was a frame on "wont say resto" but a completly gone through car. Engine a 383, I did not check for matching numbers but most like the original, is now completly rebuilt 40 over, mild cam, headers, complete new exhaust, exit behind rear tires, rebuilt tranny, new leaf springs and shocks front and back, front end all rebuilt, gas tank cleaned and sealed, complete brakes new. New door panels front/rear and front bench and rear seat new from SMS I think, was just done when I bought it. Dash no cracks, carpet looks fine as well, green color. six passenger seat belts. Dual A/C! Never tried it, all there. Tail gate folds and swings out of course too. Roof rack also. I think there was a small crack or something behind the R/R wheel in bodywork, thats the only thing I would say is an issue, small one. Has Magnun 500 wheels, tires, I would put some new ones on, the ones on it have lots of tread, but starting to crack for sure. I know there are other stuff to, but that is off the top of my head, car has less than 1000 miles on it since complete. Always in dry garage since 2007 in phoenix

Hey Bryan, wow..thats is a sweet car! Yes it looks good, what a difference:) Thanks for the before/after.
