The other day I was getting rid of some unused wires from previous projects in my engine bay. In the process, I had to unravel a lot of electric tape and i noticed that in one of the (original looking looms) was a wire that was just open ended. I didnt think much kf it because the wiring was a desaster when I got the car so ...its not connected, not needed so away with it.

Now remember. It was NOT connected anywhere on one end in the Wiring. It was the wire that went to the Ground terminal on the starter relay. Soooo my car started fine before, I unplugged the plug (dead end wire on the other end) and its not starting. I stand there with my head scratching...made a new ground wire and it starts right up. I now know this is supposed to be connected to the Neutral Safety Switch but WHAT!? I really don't know how I was able to crank the car without that wire being connected anywhere. Has me completely baffeled as it was 100% wrapped with tape.
