I have a 1969 Fury III . Will a 69 Fury 1 or 2 tail light lens fit right in a Fury III? Mine are abit dull and obviously old. I see many for sale that are just Fury or Fury 1 or 2 . Fury III lenses are rare in good shape and expensive. Can the other models be used without fitment problems?
Thanks

The Fury III, VIP & Sport fury are totally different and wider than the Fury I & II

I have several of them buried in boxes somewhere in my basement and or garage they would be in good shape but not NOS ( I do have a pair of NOS but they will be going on my Spot Fury some day ) if your not in a hurry I will surely find them by springtime give or take and I will give you a shout when I find them

Hoarder....

Ha Ha ,,yes sir!! Me that is!

Ironwolf that would be great if you could let me know when you find them. Mine are ok but I would like some nicer ones if I can find them at some point. I see you are in MA also like me. Thanks.

I hope for you that they're not as hard to find/expensive as those for the '70 Sport Fury. If you don't want to do it yourself, you might be able to find someone to polish those out. It's just dead plastic, after all....

I would be willing to try to polish them myself. What stuff is best to use and what procedure? I just don't want to f£*k it up!! It could be a winter project to add to the list. I just got a whole front grill and headlight bezels assembly for my Fury on eBay. That surprisingly was cheap although not perfect but very usable. 60 bucks shipped. I was going to polish that up this winter. Would like a pair of front turn signal lights and the rear tail light lens's too. This could get out of hand and I'll end up with a spare parts car and a divorce!!!

It depends how bad they are as to how much plastic you want to sand/remove before you get to the good stuff. If it's a light haze, the guy in this thread seems to have been polish them out. An Error Has Occurred!

I've seen some really bad ones though that have been restored. As always, there's many youtube videos on this. Here's a couple:

Thank you Tom for the links.
