Fury 1965 kickdown return spring?

Hello!
Should / must there be a return spring to the kickdown linkage on a Fury, 383/727 4BBL, 1965? If so, in direction against firewall i guess?
Original was a 2BBL.

I can´t find any springs online for this year, only 66->.

I do not have a 65 so I can comment for sure, typically they do.

Now I did go to mymopar.com and download a free copy of the parts book and looked to see what it showed. Now I also downloaded a free copy of the 1965 Plymouth Factory Service Manual and looked through it to see what it showed and I found out...
