Fury windshield trim removal

Almost ready for paint on engine bay. Need to remove cowl and wiper motor. Before I screw up the moulding, thought I'd seek advice on removing the windshield trim, namely the lower one for now. I have one of these removal tools, think it is for GM cars, never had much luck with it anyway. Any guidance here? Thanks, Kel

This will work much better.

Put the bent end under the trim and work it back and forth to unclip the retainer. It's still a pain, but not as big a pain as the GM type.

I can see that tool would make it much easier. I just used a cheap plastic trim tool to remove mine and was very careful. It worked too.
