They are out there. These three need too much work.

That 73 2dr coupe is not a bad car...little work in quarters and front fenders...but for $2900...probably an easy $2500 buy...you'd have one heck of a cool car.

Yep, I bought it today. I flew to Tampa this morning & met the owner at the DMV to transfer the title & get a temp tag. I'm in a hotel at the FLA/GA line & I'd be further along had it not been for the right front blowing out at 70 MPH. Not to mention that the FAA removed my can of Blaster from my checked bag. Long day & I'm tired but I'll start a new thread once I get the old gal home.

Sorry commando, this ones gonna be a resto-mod with modern drivetrain, etc. Stay tuned...

I dont believe it!!! We need proof , the car at the motel, at your house, at the toll booth.........details man details.

Great, you saved one. Hopefully you got her for a fair price. Good luck on getting her home. How far is home?

The dirt under my finger nails proof enough for you? :) I'll take a bunch of photos this weekend & post them up.

Columbus, OH is home but I am working in Louisville, KY right now so I'll stop there for a couple of days.

The car runs great & actually stops pretty well. Steering is a whole different story...
It literally reminds me of driving my motorhome. One word: momentum :)

Looks like it'll need some metal work but the paint is amazing for an outside car....Love the interior.

No............grease could have come from any car, not that one.

Ball buster...

Hey man, congrats! A new Imperial thread, I can't wait!

I KNEW someone was gonna grab that car sooner or later, just a matter of time. I took a good long hard look at her also last year but it was before the previous owner dropped his asking price (again), and I decided to keep looking closer to home for my car.

Congrats.

I have no problem with that!
All I ask is NO DUBS. LOL
Congratulations. MORE pics please!!!
I'm willing to bet if I wasn't so lazy, I would have driven the two hrs. up there and grabbed it myself.
