Shoot. Guess we just lost another giant. God Speed !!!!
I’ve always wanted the 1969 Plymouth Superbird in my driveway. We passed on a 1970 model in the 80’s because the nose was missing. What a mistake that was in hindsight Lol!!!
That’s pretty true Lol!!! Back then at around $3500 IF you could find one the nose was more expensive than the car. My buddy Jim had 4 Daytona noses and those 110% would not fit...Although I have never driven one I would guess if you do you can't see the nose anyways.

*Superbird was 1970 only. Dodge Daytona was 1969 only.
Interesting... When I was 17-ish, around 1990, a "friend-of-a-friend" came over another friend's house with a generic-gray metallic repaint of a 1970 Roadrunner. Someone noticed the rear window didn't look quite right. Sure enough, there were reinforcement brackets in the trunk. At the time, we thought the car was a hacky restoration... Not that we should have been fighting to buy it! I wonder whatever became of it?
Sorry what I meant was this unicorn. I’m sure it was crushed and lost to the ages. The ‘69 mule.
Enjoy...

If it suffered the fate of most mule cars, it was probably re-assmembled with the stock front end and crashed into a wall (aka, destructive testing)
wonder what the hood in the background is? that thing is huge.

These pics are supposed to be at Creative Industries. I could be wrong but they may have done cars for more than just Chrysler...Why that's there I don't know but it looks to me like a '69 ~ '70 Grand Prix hood. 2¢
