Guess some people felt there was a need for it, like what if the attendant was in the john?Seems kind of unnecessary at a time when service stations had a rubber hose to run over and alert the attendant anyway,
Well, hopefully he finishes what he needs to do, before he worries about what you need him to do. Just sayin....Guess some people felt there was a need for it, like what if the attendant was in the john?
Yes. I recall selling these in my father's Western Auto Store circa 1950. Big bell under the floorboard makes LOUD two-tone clangs. This lovely car did not sell and did not attract much of a bid. Reserve not met. I went ahead and ran the tag data through my decoder. Auto-Pilot, tilt wheel, SureGrip and other items do not show up on '64 Body Data Plates, assumedly being the responsibility of the chassis assembly line. This one is new to me, anyone see this on a car before?
