I finally got a chance to work on my car today, I got it back from paint last Saturday night, but this was the first time I got to work on her. I had a good day I got a fair amount done and no scratches on the new chrome or paint. I got the chromed rear bumper an various chromed trim back on the car. It is basically road worthy again.

This is the best part of the restoration process. I couldn't wait to get started this morning. I'm going to be able to put in about a 1/2 day tomorrow.

Looking awesome .. I'll bet having to wait to get started after it was in your garage was killing you

X2 .. did you send out the trim and emblems somewhere?
Yes the rear bumper and most of the exterior pot metal I sent to a local guy Metal Brite in Dayton, OH. The rear trunk emblem was chromed and he has a painter that laid in the black. I restored the plastic red, white, and blue. I love the trunk emblem. The hood ornament is OK, but I think the trunk emblem is cool.

Mike, will you be making the Nationals in August? It is close to home

Thanks everyone, Yes Dave I will be there are you thinking of making the drive?

Here is my revised plan 53 subset B for completion of the 300. I will finish the exterior trim in the next 2 weeks and then take it to the upholstery shop. He claims he will have it done in 2 weeks but that his answer for everything. If I double that to 4 weeks I will still have it by the beginning of August, still giving me time to do any finishing touches.

I bolted the old split seats back in and plan on putting afew miles on her in the next couple of weeks. I might even take her to the drive-in next week. It is of course raining today but that is alright I still have plenty of work to do.

Thinking about it Mike, its a long drive for an unorganized event. I have done it twice, drove Friday night, did the show, drove back Saturday night/ Sunday morning. I'd rather go to Moparfest the following weekend but those damn passports......
