I caught this at the last minute as I was leaving the car show. I probably walked by it half a dozen times but paid little attention since it appeared to be a well kept 4 door PT. As I was leaving I happened to notice this badge on the back

Then I had to take a quick look. I only managed to get a few shots with the phone. The interior looks like any other early PT including floor shift. Absolutely nothing to give away it's secret except the five bolt wheels. Other than the sound, you would have no clue it hides this

That's bad azzzz!

I don't have a picture but at the Spring Fling Mopar show in Van Nuys California there was a PT Cruiser with a Hemi, a 426 Hemi!

Still not sure how he gets it through smog.

The car the way Chrysler should have offered it at least in a limited run, maybe 5.7 6.4, just imagine the publicity in the magazines the money they would have spent offering a limited run would have paid off in spades with the ink and buzz and showroom traffic. College for marketing my ***.

I've seen a few others, but this is the first one I've seen that didn't butcher the firewall or interior. Everything is out front and done nicely including those custom valve covers.
