The next two jobs coming into my shop are pretty cool and different. First off is a 1951 Mack truck. I've done a lot of paint and bodywork on large trucks and busses over the years but this will be the first one that has to be a show piece when done. after the truck the same customer has a 60 Fury convertible for me to do. Pretty clean and straight car that has been sitting for like 30 years. Loaded with options like power windows, power seat and air conditioning. Here's the before pictures.

That 60 Fury looks like the sister car to my 61. Same colors and equipment except for the A/C ...... Now THAT is really rare.
If ya do a good job Chris, I might send mine over. :the penguin:

Looking forward to watching this thread. Both are going to be really cool when finished.

You're right Peter, Stan probably started his truck driving career in something just like this 51 Mack! :poke:
No but you were VERY close. First job, '53 Brockway in 1969.
The company wasn't big on having an up-to-date fleet. We were just peasants after all...

Kid's can't describe anything with it being "awesome". Everything is freaken awesome.
Me? I'm "special". As in riding the short bus.

OK Will, I'll pencil you in right after Dave sometime in late 2017 or early 2018. :beerchug:

Several years ago I was chasing down a H67. Scrap prices went up and then it was gone. I'd love to get another old tractor. A Dodge L700 would be cool if you could find one.
