I recently bought a 1966 Dodge Monaco 500 383 4 bbl without A/C from a nice couple out in Washington. I drove the car about 1200 miles back to California, since then I've done an oil change and added 15 inch rims and new tires. I am not a mechanic in the slightest however I love classic cars with a passion. I have done some basic stuff like adding a new high torque starter, starter relay, new belts for alternator and Power Steering, new radiator hoses. Eventually install a new thermostat. If I can do it, I try my best to do it myself although there's a lot of things I don't know. By joining the club I hope you guys can guide me on my journey to restoring the car back to it's former glory.
