I believe this is a 1960 New Yorker. What do you think?

they need to lower the rear end looks like ***

Waste of a 2 door New Yorker - way too hard to find for one to end up that screwed up! I would love to make it as boring as hell original, and showroom.

That's a good example of the wild paint that was going on in the seventies.

People now look down their nose at the paint, but in reality, that's what was popular in that era. Not a lot of examples survived... The multiple coats of clear lacquer broke down and cracked after a few years and the wild custom paint jobs fell out of popularity.

I'd get rid of the long shackles and drive it like it is. I'd like to see a good pic of it.

It looks the way they used to be treated in the early seventies. I didn't like it then, don't like it now. That's a period photo, for sure.

This poor Newport used to look a lot like it. Good thing is they came to their senses:

This car was "customized" for an illustrious German named Bernd Wollersheim who owned this car since the late 1980's I guess. He ran a somewhat famous brothel in Düsseldorf. Over the years he also owned other eye-catching <*cough*> cars until experiencing financial difficulties. As far as I know the cars were sold in 2009.

While I enjoy the reaction that Obama would have...
