Have a 1960 Fury that we are changing from Aqua to Red interior. What color head liner comes with the red interior. I have been getting different answers from different interior places from white vinyl to and ivory colored fabric. The original head liner was a fabric, not a perforated vinyl.

The "white"/"ivory" head liners started with the later model cars of the 1990s and such. This allowed ONE headliner for a limited number of interior color choices (black/charcoal, tan or shale, for example). Unlike earlier cars which had MANY color choices and combinations. Usually, the headliner color usually coordinated/contrasted with the color of the A-pillar moldings (unless they were factory chromed) or the instrument panel color (unless it was white).

The other orientation would be to match the carpet color (in the case of a white interior with black carpet).

Might look in the "Library" section of www.hamtramck-historical.colm for a "Color and Trim Guide". There might be some information on color of headliner with various color combinations in the Chrysler Parts Manual (interior trim section), too.
