Headlight door stops

Missing one of the rubber stops on my '68 300. Anyone have a p/n for these or know where to find them?


Also, here is some hack job welding on the passenger side door rod. Makes it so I can't open the doors manually by separating the rod from the door crank.

I'm probably gonna need to find a replacement rod as it was previously broke in the middle and welded there too.

I'd just find a door from a 95-96 F-150 and slap it on there. Should bolt right on.

Umm getting back to the issue at hand I am also needing these stops. Have scavenged some but they are not much better than whats on the car. Interested in what the collective has to say..

Have you looked in the parts manual for the part number? The number for my 70 is 2785824. These are reproduced as they're used on 70 Chargers as well. They're currently out of stock at the moment, but expected to be back in at some point.

OK, so yep, 2785824 is the correct PN for '68 as well. A couple of the MOPAR NOS parts dealers has them if you don't want to wait for the repops to come back in stock. You'll have to call around.
