Headlight issues

I have a 68 Newport two door hardtop recently I’ve been having issues with y headlight and parking lights, my switch is the toggle type in the dash, the only way to have the headlights and parking lights on at the same time is to have the switch positioned between the parking and lights on position, plus brake lights only work with parking lights on. I’m stumped any thought would help

I have changed the switch and no change also

First things first the front parking lights due not come on with the headlights only the rear.

When you flip the parking lights on you get front and rear. When you turn the headlights on the front parking lights go out.

That WAS the way it worked now, dash and rear lights only work with the switch positioned at the mid point between parking and headlights, when it is in the parking light position no parking or dash lights when moved to headlight position headlights come on and dash and parking go out.... lol driving my bonkers lol
