For some reason I only have one headliner retaining clip left. It has been 10 years since I removed the headliner but I recall some being broken when removing . When looking online I only see the U Style clips. These are more of a C or J style. Does anyone have clips from a parts car they would be willing to sell?
I believe I need 8-10?
Thanks

I might have to try them, if I don’t find anything else but am not sure if the throat is wide enough.

I have some good used ones.

Now that I have it back in my stable I think the u- shaped head liner fabric clips could work. However the back side of the lip isn't very deep, possibly the reason for the shorter leg on the clip in the first place.

Guess what I found? They are U shaped clips. And I have all 10 of them. Now I wonder what the hell this c- shaped one is from?

Neither of my cars had clips, headliner was just glued, both restorations were just glued.
I'm not familiar with the 68 to know if they are really needed.

Now that I have found them I will use them. Glue could work, but I am too deep into this for close enough. In another 50 or 100 years if someone tears into it they will find everything close to the way the factory did it. At least as close as I can replicate.
