I have a 1962 Dodge Custom 880, 4 dr. sedan, 361 c.i. with AC. The heater control valve is leaking. I can't figure out a way to "rebuild" it so I need to buy a new one or a good, used one. The new ones I found on the internet are way too expensive. Hopefully, some of you guys have a reasonable source. Thanks. Bob

On something like a heater control valve,I would suggest buying it new. You'd be taking a chance with buying something used and you just might be in the same situation that your in now with a part that freezes up and doesn't work. It's one of those thing that you'll kick yourself for if you put a used one in and have to deal with taking things apart again in short time.Good luck!

I just went through this ordeal and I'm as cheap as any guy here but you're going to have to pop for a new one as expensive as they are. There is no other recouse. I tried. I really, really, tried...
