Hi all, I'm in Australia and as its hard to source headers for my 383 Plymouth fury 111wagon here so sources overseas others ise get custom header made.
I have receive a email from a supplier in America and has put me onto a set of Hedman Headers collector size 3-1/2" collector size and 2" tube diameter part number 75320. Can anyone tell me what these are like and will they fit in easy or do I need to do any modifications. Wagon still left hand drive as well. Any help would be grateful. I am doing cam, carry and head work to engine.

IMHO, Tube size is too large for a 383 in a car that heavy. You will loose low end torque that you need to get the weight moving.

I just had that problem and ended up fitting Hedman 78070 shorty headers to my 71 Fury with 383.
The longer ones hit the torsion bars.
Hope this helps with mine being a 71
You then have to custom fabricate the down pipes. The drivers side is close to the block but we did it and they work great.
 
See if you can source a set of H.P. manifolds. Plenty of room and you keep the grunt of the motor down low to get that big girl moving. Headers are not necessary on a stock motor.

Personally I don't like the HP manifolds; they make changing plugs into a real pain in the ***.

The easiest way I have ever seen to change the Spark Plugs on a "B" engine is from underneath the car.
 
I use a plug socket with a hex along with a box or end wrench. I never seem to have an issue.

I had a V6 Ford Exploder that I found that the easiest way to change plugs was to pull the wheel off and get to the plug through the wheel well.

I did that with my buddy's 300-Hurst.
