Hi Everyone,

It took me 47 years but I've finally bought my first classic car. I think it's pretty rare. I've got a lot of history on the car. 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury, L code 440 Super Commando with trailer tow package which gave me the HD 727 trans and limited slip differential. It is Y4 gold with the perilized white vinyl top, and black interior. I gather that most of you like the white interior but I've always liked black interior myself. Power disc front brakes, 3" rear brakes, factory tach as well as some other options. first purchased in Blythe CA where it stayed until 2000. Original owner took it off the road in about 96. She passed away in 2000 and left it to her niece in southern MO. Her husband got it titled in MO but never registered. He drove it on the dirt roads putting about 10,000 miles and a lot of dust on in 13 years. The bad, rust around the rear window and under the vinyl top....Of course..... My intent is to try to take it back to as original as possible.

Great site!
Thanks,

Hi everyone,

I keep getting a popup that says I have private messages when I click on View, it want's me to download some mail software. Is this legit? I work in IT and am not very trusting of such things. My gut tells me it is spam. Thanks for the info.

Thanks,
Rick

Yes, if there is a private message waiting, you will get a pop up alerting you. You also have the option of getting an email if a PM was sent to you. Down loading software??? I don't recall that...
And that car is fantastic. Great score. Congrats.

I congratulated you on the Drydock and I'll do it here as well. Many of us admired that car and I wanted to buy it bad.... Factory tach, buckets, 440hp. What a fantastic car and you will be the envy of the C body crowd... Will you be bringing that beast to Carlisle in 22 days? We all need to see it

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Great car!

Welcome aboard!
