Welcome......nice car.
I bought a 65 Chrysler 300 coupe about 6-7 years ago in port alberni.
Lets see if i can find pics of it.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Welcome, nice looking car, looks a bit forlorn sitting out in the rain, Those original Chrysler road wheels look like they have been widened.

thanks for the welcomes
game plan for now is to make a weekend cruiser for me n the kids to ride around in
I am getting 2 66 newyorkers next week one for the front discbrakes and one for the 440and trans
since I blew the trans in mine last week hence why its on the ramps

Just a thought, you may want to reconsider the 66 new yorker for the brakes, those early units are very hard to get parts for and can end up being expensive for spares if you do find them. My suggestion would be to go would a set of 69 - 73 disk brakes with the premium set being the 73 year as the parts for these are the cheapest when it comes to the rotors themselves. The parts for the later units are readily available. They also are a bolt up for your car, no modification needed. The power booster will also bolt in if your car doesn't already have one.

all the brake set up are from a 71 he told me
and I figured was best to stay Chrysler then to go a kit with ford or chev parts

The New Yroker already has the 71 setup in it? Then you are good to go yes, regards,
Gary
