hello, im relativly new to the c body world (though i think technically i have a d body) i have had my wagon for about a year and a half and love it most the time.

ive done a bit to it so far but still needs alittle more love to be long haul road worthy, goal is to make a cross country cruiser

it is mostly original. original 413 motor/727trans/ white vinyl with black cloth interior (the drivers seat is pretty bad off n the carpet is nasty but overall decent condition
i have most my build mapped out . any questions feel free to ask. 0722141301.jpgIMG_93126662994003.jpg

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Love a hardtop wagon!

Man oh man that tank is NIIIICE! Just get those rims off her PLEASE! Sweet ride!!!!!

Hello from Minnesota! Keep the rims! Live the look of that car. The welcome wagon is living up to its name!

Yes keep the rims. Paint it black with a flake maroon top! I'm really liking this one alot!!! So NICE!!!!

thank you, i saw it and immediatly fell in love . then started researching and found all the cool little details n rarity ( less than 1900)

when i get the body work done im planing on a deep black cherry paint. trying to decide if i want to add any effect to it . the cargo area i want to do cherry wood slats and build some custom wood consoles . its going to be a cruiser but itll be a nice cruiser :) want to relive family roadtrips with my kids that my grandparents used to take me on in their wagons :) debating going with some older chrysler wire spoke wheels and white walls . but kinda like the semi muscle look as well.

I'm loving that hardtop line alot! Were me, I'd cut that into a pickup car and blend in that C pillar. Shhhhh......That's gonna get people bent....

hmm that could be cool, i know where theres a body laying that i could go crazy with . this one im going to make nice for now. just minimal visable mods. n easily reversed in case i ever sell to someone looking for a more factory appearance

Welcome, and nice long roof! Hope you get it sorted out, and out on the hwy to start making those memories!

I have been doing yearly family vacations in my 68 T/C wagon with my wife and my daughters since they were in car seats! They are 13 and 14 now. ;) We have another 1000+ mile trip planned in the wagon this year as well.

thanks. main issue is wiring needs replaced. can do a painless set up , or if i could find a place to find all the correct connectors build one by hand but probably end up spending just as much if not more . and of course re do the whole brake system before taking the kids on the free way

Evans wiring cam do one for you, reuse the original, good winter project. Just patch as needed like I do! Just haven't gotten around to making the new one/calling Evans. Been meaning to for years.

mines kinda beyond patching, found a hand full under the dash that had shorted and melted and just messed up bad. as well as so many exposed and frayed wires throughout the car . :S

Little of both. Wanna hit as much of rt 66 that's left as I can. Maybe run the Bonnie n Clyde trail. Trips like that .
