I have a 1971 Dodge Monaco. It is a white 4 door sedan with dark green interior. Under the hood is a 383cid V-8 with an automatic transmission. From the factory, it had a 2bbl Carter carburetor. Several years ago, I upgraded the intake manifold to an Edelbrock Performer manifold and a 4 bbl Holley carburetor. I also upgraded the single exhaust to a complete dual exhaust system with two 3" pipes with MagnaFlow mufflers. I also upgraded the ignition system to a Mopar Performance electronic system. The engine runs better than it ever has.

This car has been in our family since it was new. The car was originally my grandparents car and my grandmother named her Betsy. I am the second owner. It became mine over 30 years ago. Betsy has never been in an accident and has always been a garage kept Florida car. Given her age, she is in pretty good condition.

I am always on the look out for new sources of parts especially electrical (switches) parts, body and interior panels and parts, and body seals and gaskets. I would appreciate anyone with any sources of parts (NOS parts to junk yards) to forward them.

Thanks.

Welcome! I had a blue 71 sedan once, it was a nice driver but a little slow with the original 2 bbl, so you're heading for a right direction.

Pics, please!
