I took a nice long ride in the 300 today. I was off and we're getting to the end of top down driving season. I got home and while it was warm I thought I would put up the top and wash all the windows. The top and windows have been down since April. I leave the top down so I can jump in the car after work, pull it out of the garage and take off. So now it's time to get it ready for winter. While sitting in my passenger seat(reclining) washing windows, the seat reclines on it's own,I did not raise the lever to recline it, now I can't get it to stay in the upright position. Is there a cable that may have snapped inside the seat? Can I access this by taking off the back of the seat? Thanks, Jim.

If my memory serves me, there is a roll pin that connects the lever to the actuator.

I bought a '67 Newp parts car with a bucket recliner pass. seat. The roll pin had worked it's way out so the back would not stay up.

I can't remember now if I had to remove any trim to access the repair.

I can look/take pics later if need be.

Hope the input helps.

John
