HI all, I am working with Aidan on finding parts and I have come across an interior for him that is local pickup only. It includes the front buckets and rear seat as well as the four panels for a 69 fury.
Would someone local to this guy be willing to help us out at all? I imagine that getting it all to a greyhound terminal is going to be the cheapest option for us. The zip code is 18847 for North Jackson/[h=3]Susquehanna.[/h]If you can help please let me know and Aidan and I will put our three heads together, thanks guys!

Have you thought of Fastenal? They have a shipping and logistics division too. I shipped a 350 pound engine from Ft. Worth, Texas to Pennsylvania for 185 bucks! Took a week. Just contact your local Fastenal store to make the arrangements.

Yah I am in a tight situation, the owner of the parts wont drop the bits off at all, he expects a pickup.

I shipped a 57 chevy front seat to Washington state, (final dest was in Canada), via Grayhound recently. I disassembled the seat backs and wrapped the whole thing is shrink wrap. It arrived in great condition and cost was around $175.00 I think.

Yes, even though its a bigger amount of stuff I am hoping that since it doesn't have as far to go it shouldn't cost too much.

I've heard the greyhound shipping tales. I've quoted there prices before, and there within 40 bucks of ups. I know I might get different rates by going to the terminal, and speaking with someone... The fastenal route sounds like a better option for a complete interior. Just palletize it, and ship next available room.

The stuff I shipped through Greyhound was always cheaper then what I was quoted or expected it to be I shipped fenders and big items never a whole interior which is more delicate.

Damn, I just looked at a map of North Jackson, it's right out there in the middle of nowhere isn't it?

I may be traveling through PA on the I81 corridor soon. Looks like it's just off the route in the NE part of PA. I haven't comfirmed the trip yet but I may be able to pick up and meet you in Virginia on the return trip.

You could probably make the trip from Greenville and back in a weekend.

Wow, I just looked it up, if you take the New Milford turnoff its 11 miles to the parts car. So yes I am very interested if we can work out a pickup point in VA. Let me know where that may be. This sounds like it could be doable?

I'm still in process of negotiating for an old camper in upstate NY. Nothing has been decided yet. I also just noticed your in Greenville, not Greensboro. I had Roanoke in mind. It would need to be along I 81 somewhere.

Roanoke is definitely worthy of me considering it. I will PM you to discuss particulars, cheers.
