I hope this site is every bit as good as the other Mopar specific sites. If so, it will be around for a long time. My car is a '67 Fury III convertible that my dad bought back in '77. It was driven a few years, then a bearing spun and it sat for over twenty years. In 1999, I had convinced my dad that it was time to fix the old Plymouth up. He agreed and the stage was set. Not long after that discussion, Dad was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and was gone within a few months. Not really knowing what I was doing, I took the project on myself, reading everything I could get my hands on about auto restoration. After five years on and off, I have her back on the road. This c-barge made her maiden voyage in the spring of 2007 and has been exceptionally reliable and fun to drive. Even though Dad never got to see it done, Mom enjoys it about every day the sun shines!! This car is equiped with a poly 318 (yes, it's on the fender tag) and 727. The seat covers are from Legendary and the top is from E-Z On. This was my first attempt at auto restoration and is more of a driver than a show car. Sorry I don't have digitals of the "before" shots, but I can tell you she was rough. Both quarters have been replaced, a lot of rust was cut out and a lot of bodywork was done.
