Hi all!! New to the MOPAR C-Bodies forum and saying hello!

I have never owned a Mopar...always been a GM guy. I currently own a 1971 Buick GS Stage 1.
But I have always loved Mopars, especially the C-bodies. Been looking for the longest time to purchase a C-body. My favorite is the Royal Monaco '75-'77, but they are all great!

And I always loved the Stage I Buick GS's.
(The Stage II setup came in the trunk IIRC. Am I right?)
Wanna trade?

WELCOME!!!

Those staged versions were among the fastest muscle cars ever. Not sure if these weren't all over the counter upgrades. Something considered a Stage 1 1/2 was also available I read somewhere. Heard claims of around 500 hp for Stage 2 engines. But I guess our new member can fill us in better. Really like the GSX optioned cars as well.

Brain very fuzzy right now (too much Led Zeppelin last night?) but here goes.
Stage I: From the factory
Stage II: Factory Stage I plus Stage II components in the trunk.
Stage III: Maybe like 3 or 4 made for experimental (?) use.
Too lazy to Google right now.

There was a very good article in the discontinued Muscle Cars of the 60s/70s mag, have to dig that one out once again. It sticks longer to the brain that way with me.

Thanks all for the warm mopar welcome!!

Yes, Stage 1 was from factory. GM did offer stage 2 on the '73 GS, but only in very limited supply. So rare that might not be able to find an authentic true stage 2 these days. Stage 2,3 and 4 mostly aftermarket.

I used to own a '71 Buick Centurion 455 Stage 1..It looks like a LeSabre but it replaced the Wildcat in muscle. It was placed after the Electra and Riviera GS as far as power, luxury, and price.
I also owned a '72 LeSabre , and both of those have gone on to other homes. The Centurion is gracing the Autobahn these days in Germany! LOL
