Don't feel comfortable sharing photos of the car just yet as it belongs to someone here, and I'd hate to be so pompous as to make any of my dealings with them or intentions with the car public knowledge before I can assuredly call the car mine, which might be a while yet, as I just got sacked with an unexpected 2203 USD bill.
The art is still being drawn up, and I'm deciding on a font for the name, but the paint will be in front of the driver door, and behind the wheel well.
Regardless, I might opt for a vinyl, although I'd like to paint the art on solidly for permanence and to satisfy my arbitrary desire to mimic the old painters of years past.
So if anyone has any clue on paint adhesion and how the paint should be layered, say for instance
Metal
Primer
Paint
Art
Clearcoat
It would be much appreciated.
For what it is worth, the car im looking at, although not necessarily keen on, is a Chrysler Newport Fusie, with a paint job that's worn enough that it will certainly be getting a new coat entirely, in high gloss black, should I come to own it.
