Open for skiing Thanksgiving Day they say! Looks sketchy to me. Takes me a couple days to get used to the thin air here anyway. Doesn’t effect my appetite though.

I-95 has been packed for what seems forever. Too packed to bring the big girl.

Doesn’t effect my appetite though.

I can imagine they’ve got some good restaurants around there!

$50 & up for Thanksgiving Buffet. Reservations only.
I’m heading in to Glenwood for dinner.

I-70 from Grand Junction to Glenwood Springs.
Pavement smooth as glass and a 75 mph speed limit.
Michigan could learn a thing or two about paving/maintaining roads.

Climbed 2500 ft in elevation. Left GJ at 60 deg F. and hit GWS in the high 30s. Climbed another 1000 ft to Aspen.

The Rental. Certainly no Hemi but it does have a Bose sound system. Helps drown out the road noise thru the rear doors. Not impressed with this thing.

After dailying a RocketBird then a New Yorker for the last year I forgot what a sound system even was!

Not impressed with this thing.

I’d recommend a Volvo for the next rental. Have always had a pleasant time with them - driven them for years. Feel like their often underrated, they have a quite simple design philosophy yet a very nice, soft ride. Have her the new Linc. Contis are pretty nice too.

I had a new Conti rented and they gave me this thing. The best verts i’ve rented are a BMW 428 and Camaros.
