Saw this at a local car lot.

I guess I could stick one of those in my trunk as a "spare" with a cover on it that says: for emergency use only.. Along with a disguise, as I wouldn't want to be seen driving it.

I know that the fr fender of a 68 Newport barely fits in the interior of a 2004 Kia Reo wagon. So glad I went alone that day and didn't have to make that decision.

Did three kegs of beer in the trunk of the '66 Newport. Room for a 4th. Still had suspension travel with those full kegs. I drove slow so as to not "slosh" the goods.

Now that is an awesome story!

You’d be lucky to get a 12 pack in that smart car.

my elderly parents had 1 of these, it was great for them and they loved it.
my dad totalled his 90 fleetwood coupe in the underground parkade of their condo, then i gave them a 300M Special which quickly had all it's 4 corners destroyed in no time.
so we got a smart car.
it was perfect for them, my dad never hit anything and no property, people or livestock were destroyed until he gave up driving voluntarily.
its not easy here to get a senior's licence pulled, so the smart car was a perfect solution; obviously he shouldnt have been driving after totalling the caddy.....
i was really surprised by how roomy and comfortable inside it was.
lots of room for a load of groceries or a suitcase or 2 behind the seats
i took it on a couple of 200 mile trips and it was fine on the highway.
now my sister has it, we havent spoken since my parents died but my nephew tells me the smart car is doin just fine

Big jump from a Fleetwood all the way to a smart car. Sounds like a good choice.
