Hey guys. I'm looking to put some HP manifolds on my Newport, and was wondering what the difference between B and C body manifolds was? Are they interchangeable?

I figured it had to be an issue with the steering somehow. Thanks for the info!

Awesome info there, Fratzog! That tells me everything I need to know in my search. Thanks! :yourock:

Just to verify, that chart says that 2843992 WILL fit any C-Body, correct? And that's the drivers side that would have any issue with steering column fitment?

So is there a list anywhere that shows what HP manifolds will directly drop into a 74-78 C-Body?
Stock '74 and '75-78 BB C-body manifolds flow pretty damn good. In my opinion, you're not going to pick up much more performance, if any at all, with other manifolds.
FWIW, the 74's are different than the 75-78's. 74's have a flat flange exhaust pipe connection. The 75+ has a slip-joint.
