The poor bahstard that thought he was gonna get rich at BJ is likely kicking himself now. Shoulda taken some time to sell it properly and he would have made out better. The flipper saw the opportunity and capitalized on it.

He hasn't sold it yet. I can't get over how bad it looks with the black vinyl roof. That really needs to come off. The Hurst gold paint looks a shade or two off in those pictures too. Then you have what they did to that grille. That's just with 4 bad pictures and no description to speak of. I am a bit surprised they could pull $30k out of it. Its not like there is a shortage of Chrysler 300's for sale.

At least the lower portion is no longer painted black.

There's a lot of details on this car that need attention and IMHO, cuts the value. The black top is fugly, but if it does ring true that it was dealer installed, that does make it a little more interesting example.

If this guy sells this F upped car for $47.5k I'm going to start Combat Bob's Classic Mopars and Junk and flipping the most raggedly junk I can find!!!!

This car wouldn't look bad if it had white vinyl or the top painted white. That black looks terrible!!!!

White vinyl would certainly look better, but I think one of the nicest "flourishes" on the car is the gold that goes up the pillars behind the quarter windows. The bizarre black top unceremoniously cuts off the bizarre orangey-gold stripe on this car.

I just don't get why someone would go to all that trouble to restore something wrong. But believe me....I hope they get $147,500 for it.

I don't think the white is correct either. I actually like that shade of gold better than the original.

I could agree with that, but Hurst already had their stolen "caddy gold" to use.

The gold on that Hurst might be Chrysler's early 70's "Aztec Gold", which is what I painted my 68 Dart GT in the summer of 75. Loved that car....a serious 340 soon replaced the 318.

A 71 300 in Aztec Gold pictured in sunlight and shade. What a wonderful color it is IMO.

Yes, we´ve seen this car earlier.

Oooh. That roof and the other colors clash.Any decent buyer doesn,t purchase a car if he does,t like the color.A decent paint job is very expensive.Metal work may have to be done after it,s stripped. The other 300H beneath it is correct.Nice subtle coloring.A better buy if for sale. The other car visually,is frightening.B.B

Wow.Trace.To me the 300H is perfect because it gives you the luxury of an Imperial with the lovely integrated trunk wing, and unusual hood intake.Congratulations.B.B

It's certainly unusual. Wherever I go--even to car shows--I hear "What is it?" Except for an old guy named Carl here in Ponte Vedra Beach who pulled into my driveway the other day, practically in tears, and said "I can't believe it! I used to have one a very long time ago. I haven't seen one since!" He looked at every inch of the car for a long time. It was an interesting visit.

I first saw a Hurst at the local Tastee Freeze in Oxon Hill, MD in 1973. As a Mopar teenager, I couldn't believe my eyes. The NEXT one I ever saw was the one I have now when I bought it at Mecum Indy, 2018...45 years later.

The "Sauterne Gold" paint is an Oldsmobile color. If you look at all the 69-70 Hurst Olds' it the same shade as the 300 Hurst cars

Gotta love a seller that uses the previous sellers photos.
