don't agree with duel, it was mostly camera work. the seven ups had a great chase scene. those pontiacs were wound tight. the original gone in 60 seconds was great too. amazing the abuse that mustang took. white lightning had some decent chases too.

I know it was not in the 70's, but "Bullet" from 68 was the one that started it all. After that hands down was the original gone in 60 seconds.

The original Gone in 60 Seconds Mustang was heavily rebuilt with a reinforced frame, cage etc., there was only one car used for the entire chase, jumps, crashes, everything.
