True barn find. I’ll be parting it when I can. I’m super busy right now. Only reason I agreed to strip this is he’s letting me have the parts & gave me a year to strip it. This will be the third car I’ve stripped for him. I know there’s not much demand for these so I’ll store the parts away like everything else & sit on it till demand goes up & I have the time to mess with it. Yes the car was converted to a carb. Car belongs to a local round track racer & he’s going to race it in the bomber class so I won’t be able to sell any body or drive line parts. Exceptions are the front nose as he’s allowed to use a aftermarket rubber nose.

My dad was a staunch Imperial guy and had owned several back in the day. He was very upset when the Imperial was discontinued. Then, when Chrysler introduced this new series of Imperial he headed right down to the dealership to see them. He walked around one in the showroom and, shaking his head, said "This is no dam Imperial", and left.

Yep a lot feel that way. Still a cool car.
