Interesting read. Makes a person wonder what "society" was like back then when "someone" dreams up a need for all this construction and that sufficient manpower was available to make it happen. One would expect the labor force would be too busy providing food and shelter to spend a bunch of time building stone circles.

Who knows what future generations will make of Trump's Wall. :BangHead:
 
Thanks for posting. Seems like civilization advanced a lot sooner than anyone previously thought. Still a lot to learn about that society.
 
Our satellites are a boon to locating ancient habitations but this one was found by a sheep herder. Quite remarkable. Erosion exposing the top of a 19' column buried for 12,000 years. It would be fascinating to find the way that neolithic society erected these objects. I eagerly await that.
