Very cool! I was fortunate to have this photo taken with the Goat beside a restored, still flying P-51D Mustang. This was pre 300 'vert.

My Dad served as an aircraft mechanic working on Landcasters during WWII based in England...its awesome to see the one based in Hamilton still flying.

I totally understand why these 69 fury's are fuselage styling after seeing the Lancaster. That bomber is a Beauty.
 
The operators of that museum are either very trusting or very foolish to park the Lanc next to the highway like that!

The Brits flew the Lancaster all the way to 1992, as an Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) variant. The E-3D AWACS replaced it in 1992.

I'm sure there gearing up for Canada day July 1st next weekend.

That's what I thought. The wife wasn't very interested but I figured I should go for it. How often do you even see this kind of aircraft let alone park your car beside it and take a few pictures!
 
Those warbirds are a familar sight in this neck of the woods. I've been up there a couple times for car shows and you can take pics of your car
