1968 Plymouth Fury VIP | eBay

I expect the haters and others to make negative comments. So be it. I believe in free speech. And yes, I know that I am not a great photographer and some photos could be better.

Happy to answer any questions or provide/post additional photos. A rare factory two-tone paint car with a factory painted white roof over the 1968 equivalent of B5 blue paint.

We try to make it a point not to bash member's cars here. It's not like you joined ten minutes before the sale either. Your close though:poke:.

Good luck with your sale. I'm not a player, but am curious... will you be leaving the C Body world once she's gone? You are allowed to stay without a car... just saying.

BTW, I think your ad looks good. Funny thing when a car guy is trying to rehome a beloved ride in sincerity... The price is fair, the details are laid out... negatives as fully disclosed as you can. This is the kind of ad that I wished I read more often instead of flipper speak trying to glamorize the old girl in hopes of an extra digit of profit.

You've done right, I hope you find a good home for her.

Thanks cantflip! I really appreciate your comments. Been on the C Body boards for over 20 years but only a few months here.

I need to start a my garage thread. The VIP for sale is one of five '68 Furys that I own plus I have two '71 Furys and I need to thin the heard as I will never get to restore all of them so this one and a '71 Fury III 2 door "23 roof" will be put up for sale sometime in the next few months.

I agree with @cantflip you are showing what needs to be seen. Good looking Fury and the BIN price seems fair. GLWS

Glad we aren't losing you, Bill. Kinda hate to see the good ones get out of this. BTW, I'm Jeff... but answer to almost anything.

Nice car, I'll be watching to see how it does. Good luck!

Nice looking 68 VIP !!! , It is really the last year of the classy and upgraded VIP as the 69's in my opinion looked rather bleak as far as the interior goes. Good luck with your sale...

Cantflip, you may have met Bill or seen him at my tent last year at Carlisle.
Bill is a loyal C body guy, as loyal as they come

Nice car. I hope she finds a good loving home. Rare to see one that clean in our part of the country!

Nothing wrong with that ad that I can see. For $3500 you get a decent summer cruiser. Good luck with the sale.

I hope we are not aquireing a bad rap for "bashing" here. Perhaps you've been visiting other sites or forums ....?
I don't see much of that happening here, at least in a malicious way. Most is opinion in response to a request, or in good intentioned fun.
Sometimes we take a little getting used to here.

Nice VIP. Good luck with the sale and I hope it finds a good home, hopefully someplace here.

Dave, I likely did meet or see him then... but I met so many great folks over there, I couldn't remember MY name half the time.

Looking forward to a repeat again this year too, let me know if I can help out with your hospitality area.

I'll vouch for Bill too. Met him at Carlisle & bought a Magnum 500 wheel for a spare. Good guy. Good luck with the sale, hope it finds a good home. Hope to see you this year at Carlisle.

Will I'm not saying that you do, or everyone here does it, but there's been plenty of bashing here over the years.

Some probably just don't consider it " bashing " but non-member sellers mostly do when they find their car here being discussed.

I haven't seen that much lately though.

Nah, we have our moments, but this ain't Moparts.

And I will speak for everyone (self-authorized) when I say:
Post 1 pic of every other car you have. Do the Garage Threads later...
