The link is below. Tried to include everything I could think of as well as pictures of anything I would think someone would want.

It is a project but could be driven while it was fixed up and, IMHO it has really good "bones".

If anyone has any questions they will be answered honestly. I hope this car finds a good home and yes, I know, another Gold car with a Green interior...

Great ad but those wheels...:poke:

So how many FCBO members are among the 44 watchers of this auction and just watching to see what it brings? Over 1,450 views as of right now.

It even has disc brakes it appears (maybe the listing said that but I didn't read every word). I like that. I am a watcher because I like to keep tabs on what stuff is going for these days.

I'm just watching Bill. I had a Fury 2 that was close to a mate for your car. Sold locally a couple years ago. Its still around town somewhere.

Gut feeling? Now this is a gut feeling from having watched so many of these sales over the last 18 years. Mainly looking at completed sales in each brand. Completed sales via auction vs BIN. Completed sales looking at starting price. This last one, starting strategy pricing, I have found is really critical. Too high and no one will think of starting the bidding. Then there was the fellow selling excellent Cougars with the starting bid at $100 and no reserve. Well documented and he got tons of bidders with the cars selling for very good prices.

The starting price here would be high for west coast buyers who also have to pay for shipping. For east coast buyers near you probably not a problem. There is this sweet spot where the price is at the right point for someone to jump into the water, say it is fine, and then everyone else jumps in. I'm not sure $2500 is at that point to get the ball rolling which is what an auction needs. So at $2500 you might get one bidder at the end buying the car for $2500. Conversely, if started at $1500, one might get more bidders who inch it up past $2500. That is the psychology of auctions where you need to get the crowd running to see where all the action is rather than them going ho hum.

I disagree.
No fender tag picture

@FURYGT: I am a watcher

Didn't think anyone would really be interested in the fender tag on a 318 Fury III with manual drum brakes. Not sure if the automatic became standard equipment in 71 on a Fury III.

Always a tough call on the listing price. Interesting analysis.

Manual drum brake car with the wrong master cylinder (as noted in the listing).

tough question.
Fender tags are important in the Moparworld. But mostly for Muscle cars to verify their colour and options.
But many have adopted this fact and semi knowledge.
So there are guys out there who think it is important that they can verfy their -original paint- car. An that the 318 is numbers matching, too.

So I feel it wouldn't hurt showing it and maybe fullfill someones wishes

I have a legitimate bid from an C Body enthusiast in Ohio who loves the gold color.

Fender Tag. Can't add it to the eBay listing because of the bid unless I remove a photo in the 24 pics at the beginning of the listing. Feel free to decode it further.
