I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

Very, very frustrating!!!!

:mob:

Yup I wonder if the problem lies with FCA not having updated the transport history of your car Bob because it sold so soon after being built. They can take several weeks sometimes to change the status from in transit to landed to sold on the inventory side even though the sale info has migrated through the system. It’s weird is all I can say

Cook Dodge had my car on the lot less than 24 hours when I bought it.

Nice surprise from Dodge Customer Care today via UPS.....

I called Dodge Customer Care a few days ago about my electronic window sticker (no luck so far) and I asked about a paper copy of the owners manual. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and then came back on and said we'll send you one. I thought I was going to get the essential info book and to my surprise I did get the 490 page owners manual......free!

Thank You Dodge Customer Care!!!!

You need to call back and see if they'll send you the "Large Print Edition"...

The Charger will have a couple of oil changes before I get the stuff from Billet Technology. It takes them awhile to machine the parts then it takes forever for them to ship the parts to whoever does the coloring part. They will keep parts until they have enough to ship a "batch" to whoever does the coloring. I've decided to go with the same Matte Red that I did with the Ram. You can go to their website to see what I'm talking about as far as "manufacturing" goes. I would think that they would mass manufacturer common stuff so i won't have to wait 3-6 months for stuff such as catch can assemblies that i needed like yesterday.

FCA doesn't even know if the Charger has been shipped yet and Bob has already dumped 3 grand into it...

The hot rod doesn't need much more.....

Kind of hard to find stuff for it that won't violate the warranty. I've seen some of these Chargers/Challengers so modified that they run in the 8 second ET range in the 1/4 mile.

I'm thinking about adding these....

I personally am on the fence about that? From your pictures the car doesn’t seem to have many, if any shiny , brushed material on it. So that’s all played may stand out of bed against all the dark gray and black. Unless that’s what you’re looking for.

Looking for something to keep the paint from being rubbed off of the sills.

Graham.....

What is the website for Dodge so I can pull up the build sheet for the Scat Pack?

I had one for Ram....can't find that one either.

I asked my Dodge salesman today and he doesn't even know what a build sheet is. He's 21 years old.....I didn't really expect him to know.

Thanks

I emailed you the build sheet on the Ram if I recall correctly as it is on our internal FCA system and not available to the public. I will run the Charger today and email you a copy.

Got it!

Thank You Graham!!!

Through Graham's efforts I have found out that my Scat Pack was built on March 11, 2019.

I bought it on April 17, 2019. The dealer said they had it less than 24 hours. So it took 5 weeks from the time it was built to ship from the assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada to arrive at Cook Dodge in Aberdeen, Maryland.
