You might recall that last January I posted that I'd send this emblem free to whoever identifies what it goes on and could prove that they actually needed it. That clause was so I wouldn't end up seeing it for sale on eBay (or here!).

Yesterday I got a PM from new member @Senix 61, who provided these pictures of his survivor 63 Savoy Slant. Pretty cool, huh? I'd say he deserves that emblem!

You are exactly right. I've had that emblem for decades, don't know how or why. At one point (long ago) I drilled three holes in the Masonite behind a work bench and displayed it there, along with some other Mopar emblems (I recall a 440 emblem and a Scat Pack badge) and a street sign that said "Dodge Lane". I guess it's been replaced sometime in the past 48 years. :wideyed:

So yeah, to have this emblem go back on a car....located in MICHIGAN, no less.....is fun and gratifying.

Growing up as a family with 5 boys and 2 girls my parents had their hands full when driver licenses were being handed out. The street in front of the house, across the street and down the block got crowded.

Many cars came and went. Left over “Good Parts” were starting to be removed from the destroyed carcasses. There was a lonely ‘68 Satellite nice drivers front fender that sat in the corner for 6 months until we found another ‘68 with a smashed drivers fender. It was good as new until……….

Well personally I’ve been in the process of moving to Arkansas and all those parts that have been collected are being organized again and many will be looking for a car to be attached to as soon as possible. I have a car lift too in the new place.
