That's for sale at R&R classic cars here in Sudbury... i walked through the showroom a few months ago and he was asking $199,99.00... its not perfect and for that price it most definitely should be..!!

Don't bet It won't sell C.C., I just don't think you'll see it make reserve on Eval-Bay. Me thinkest that seller iz just trolling for big fish. A car-bud of mine did a ground up on a 999 + 888 triple black 1960 300F convertible and took it to the Pebble Beach Auction a few years back and If memory serves the hammer fell At $199,000 + buyer and seller fees. We riff-raffz just drool on the good stuff, the fat catz just write a check and add it to the fleet to impress there friendz that don't really care or are jealous to the point of hate anyway, lol Jer

You got it Jer. We still look at these cars as "cars", something you drive around in. It's hard to imagine that cost for a "car". But at that level it transforms to ART, That's where the fat catz jump in.

hope it dose sell for that coin...can only help us in the long run...starting to see a resurgence where 60s&70s mopars are concerned and see prices going up in the long term...bottom line most of us here that have these cars aren't in it for the coin as much as we don't like to follow the beaten path...few years ago knew nada realy about the older mopars...these days cant get enough of them..they seem to grow on a fella

The woman I live with thought it would be nice to pump up the savings account last fall too and the Batwagon went to a new caretaker against my better judgement. But in certain instances I chose to pick my battlez and I chose to not fight this one. Now I'm sitting there looking at that account getting a whopping 1.25% with COLA running at what 3.5%. I handed her the last quarterly statement and when she ask what that waz I said in my best and warmest loving voice that it was her roll of Charmin tissue for this spring! 90 dayz and counting, Jer

Agreed if I had $180,000 my Barracuda would be in paint in a week or two. I would buy 1 slab, 1 fusie, 1 formie all with roofs.

Going up? Maybe for a top of the line car which we would all call grade 1. The cars we drive not so much. Here is a graph from Hagerty showing what a 1970 2dr 300 has done since 2006. Pretty much flat appreciation except for the #1 car and then not that great either.
