New, never stamped, IMPERIAL, air cleaner nameplate or pie tin, aluminum flat. This was used on all 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, & 1973 Chrysler Imperials, but will fit 1974 & 1975. This is what they look like BEFORE they are formed. These were printed but never stamped since they were discontinued. This is a great conversation piece, or make a clock out of it, or use it to put pertinent info about your show car on it. Use your imagination! Note, there is no hole for the carb stud yet.

I wish there were a way to form them correctly...

Thats what I thought too... Even the cut would be difficult enought. Quite apart from pressing them in shape.

Too bad.

I have one of these blanks. Several companies offer after market pie tins. Have not been successful finding out who stamps them for these guys. Any ideas? The decal just nowhere near as authentic and working on restoring a dual snorkel air cleaner. Would hate to crown it with a 'sticker,' if I can get this blank formed somehow.

Spin a couple bucks out of wood, bolt through the middle and crank away or put in your shop press.

i am happy with mine. And i'm a little fussy about my engine bays. i've got a pic in my garage,on here. but i can't drag it over.

Looks great Dana. Powder coated the dual snorkel about the same gloss as I see on your 67. Still thinking the elusive stamping company is out there somewhere that forms these tins for the guys like Classic Industries and the other reproduction parts guys. With enough diligence and snooping around, I might stumble into their name some day and get that Imperial blank properly formed.

I admire your commitment. I hope you get someone to run it through their die. It would also make a great talk piece.
