This one was also for sale more than a year ago now in New Hampshire. Still the same photo and description. I tried to get in touch with the seller, but he never called me back after two attempts. I don't usually bother with a seller like that unless I really want the car. I don't need it anyway, so I didn't pursue it further. I found one that is nicer anyway in the same B9 blue with some 34K miles.

Is the front end sitting a little high or is that normal for a '69?

With a white interior

It is a little high right now because only the engine is nestled in the engine bay while the transmission is in the trunk.

The story that goes along with the car is that I bought it from a guy that pulled the engine/trans for his B body project. I thought that it should be saved since it has great colors and only 34K miles on it. But I developed a rapport with the guy and gave him some tips on his B body, and then I made the case to him that I would really like to have the matching nos. engine/trans to go along with the Imperial. He had already pulled the engine/trans before I bought it, but he agreed to put them back in the car for me when he shipped it. He was a cool guy that just didn't think anyone cared about these cars. But I changed his mind and made him a good offer. It worked! :)

And now there is a new member on this site from Australia that wants my 1971 sunroof Imperial coupe. What to do.........? :BangHead::BangHead:

You may find another similar car, the Aussie guy won't find one in OZ.

Am certainly glad it's not me, what with a dollar only worth around US$0.75 and shipping costs, but I'm sure they'll love it once it's on the road in OZ.

it is not just about money.
It is about passion, too.

Steve doesn't have his collection to sell it.
He owns the cars because he likes them a lot and had the passion to collect them in huge amounts.

Fair enough, was watching the barn find hunter YouTube series yesterday, there's a guy in Colorado with 700 vehicles - rambler ranch. Can you imagine owning 700 cars???

Right on the money!, the enthusiasts who can restore and maintain these beautiful cars are doing the hobby a great service.
