Gorgeous 1964 New Yorker wagon! No price and I'd be afraid to ask...

1964 Chrysler New Yorker Town and Country Wagon

We are listing this car for the owner (private party). It is privately owned and titled - NOT owned by a dealership.

1964 Chrysler New Yorker 9 Passenger Town and Country Wagon

Royal Turquoise Metallic with White Interior

74,746 Miles - Only Two Owners

This May Be the Best Available "Unrestored" Example!

You will be proud to own this exceptional and well-preserved example of Chrysler's "top of the line" Station Wagon with stately elegance and hardtop styling. Research tells us that only about 1,600 of the New Yorker Town and Country Wagons were built... it was very expensive in its day. We think that this has to be one of the best "unrestored" that can be found anywhere, and what makes it particularly attractive as an "investment", is that it can be driven and enjoyed when not displaying it proudly at any collector car show or event.

Our seller is a retired accomplished Chrysler designer in his early eighties with a fine eye for the "right" collectable cars and a collection that has been built over a lifetime of passion for the hobby. This 9 passenger wagon is an unrestored original except for one repaint (14 years ago, Urethane Base/Clear Coat) in its original "Royal Turquoise Metallic". The interior is striking in White, and you'll agree that the overall design with the pillarless "hardtop" is simply beautiful and startlingly impressive.

The original powerful 413 Cubic Inch V8 with 340 Horsepower is combined with the TorqueFlight automatic transmission to help provide a true vintage-modern luxury highway cruising experience. Power accessories include Steering, Brakes, and Windows to include the Tailgate window. Everything works properly. Safety upgrades include Disc Brakes, Radial Tires, Four Way Flashers and Seat Belts. Mechanically, there are no known deficiencies and it has always been properly cared for and stored.

After 14 years of being the proud owner, the time has come for a new home.

Call us for more details or come see it at 2135 Stephenson Hwy. Troy, MI, 48083

For that price it needs to be perfect. It's not. Very nice though.

Thanks Pete, I obviously didn't go to their site. It's more than I thought it'd be but go find another. Love a hardtop longRoof!

I'm flashing back to 1964 ........ Dad came home with a brand new 64 Newport wagon, in burgundy. Like this car it was a hard top.

This place is a half mile from work. I'll have to check this car out during lunch break. Too pricey for me but very similar to the red 63 wagon we had.

Classic Auto has been around for lots of years, they imported my vert from Texas for the guy my dad bought it from close to 30 years ago. My understanding is the place has taken on some shady business practices over the years. It's halfway between my home and my shop and I may stop in for a look myself.

I saw this car 4 years ago. It is stunning, at the time he had aftermarket gray craigers on it. Now it looks perfect.

I'll bet it will be parked along Woodward saturday with a "For Sale" sign on it.
See what the price is next week.

Very nice. I like the shot with the American flag hanging proudly in the background.
