I purchased windlace for my '62 300 from the folks that took over for Gary Goers. I can see where the short pieces install at the rear of the door jamb as mine is still there on the drivers side. But cannot figure out how the longer ones are supposed to be installed. The FSM(repro) I have is of no help. Can any of you guys enlighten me? THANKS!

Nice car!!

The long piece goes on the A pillar, which is the first or front pillar. So remove the sill trim and it goes up the edge. You will need to remove trim at the top to cover the ends, or edge.

The rear goes under the door panel and sill trim.

You will have to take it apart some to install them right.

I don’t know how they are fastened to the body.

I can get a photo of mine already installed if you like to see it. It’s original and still good so I Never had to changed them out.

Thanks!! A picture or two would be great! I appreciate it!!

It goes underneath everything so you’ll have to remove many pieces.

Last 2 are the rear
