Already a member of For B-Bodies Only... but not a B-Body only kind of person. C-bodies are possibly even more important...

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

You have come to the right place!
Welcome!

:drama:Thanks for the welcome, everyone... tomorrow, i start a thread for Project Polara. It's a '72 4-dr 360-2v. Actually, i could use some help decoding the V.I.N. but in the meantime i will post all the Before pics... starting tomorrow after Watkins Glen.

Try this:

Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth VIN Decoder 1959-2005
There are others out there but this should help.

The forum experts should be able to decode the rest of it with relation to accessory codes.

Welcome from Australia.

John

Thanks for the link. Among other things, i'm trying to establish not just drivetrain, but interior, paint code, etc.... i'd like to do this correctly, even if it IS a 2-V small-block, bench-seat column shift. It's my first Polara

Welcome, yes, those codes should be there somewhere. Possibly our other Polara owners will know. All the best with your car

Just found this site which should assist: it's the Mopar Broadcast Sheet Decoder - sheet is usually found under the rear seat.

Doesn't matter what it is, it's yours and you love it which is all that matters and is another mopar saved for posterity.
