Thanks for the welcome, everyone... tomorrow, i start a thread for Project Polara. It's a '72 4-dr 360-2v. Actually, i could use some help decoding the V.I.N. but in the meantime i will post all the Before pics... starting tomorrow after Watkins Glen.

There are others out there but this should help.

The forum experts should be able to decode the rest of it with relation to accessory codes.

Thanks for the link. Among other things, i'm trying to establish not just drivetrain, but interior, paint code, etc.... i'd like to do this correctly, even if it IS a 2-V small-block, bench-seat column shift. It's my first Polara
