Hi, i'm Dino and new to Mopars and cars in general. I'm reading everything about my desired cars since a year.

At first, as many others do, i was into '68 Chargers, because i have never seen a C-Body. Now, a year later it have to be a fuselage C-Body, a 300, a New Yorker or, most desired, a Sport Fury GT.

I am looking for survivor cars, complete projects and drivers. I prefere matching numbers and unrestored cars before restored cars where the paint just covers holes and rust.

There are two (german) spellwords that i follow regarding a future purchase:

If you purchase cheap, you purchase twice, and

I'm not rich enough to aford cheap things.

Best reagards,

Dino

The Europeans really have a thing for fusie cars. Welcome and I like those two sayings.
Glad I'm a slab/formie guy.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Hi

thank you for the warm welcome!

I dont know why others like fusies, but i can tell you why i like them:

Like modern cars, they are very clean (compared to the lots of trim and chrome on earlies) and have lines that are timeless (roofline, fenders). Unlike modern cars they habe features that dont have an aerodynamic function, they just look great, like hideaways. Today you dont find many cars that compromise a lot.

So why not 2nd gen Chargers? C-Bodies are like me fullsize :)

Dino

Welcome, and thanks for the words of wisdom.
